Long-term Partnership / QSR

McDonald's Poland

4+ Years, 62+ Projects, One Visual Standard

A long-term food content partnership that turned menu board production into a craft discipline.

What started as typical service work on straightforward projects evolved into a partnership built on a calibrated production engine — powered by our in-house capabilities. One that delivers scale without dilution, speed without compromise, and consistency without killing the appetite.

The challenge

QSR (quick service restaurant) content is not a campaign. It is a continuous operating system. Menu boards refresh, promotions cycle, new SKUs land, regional offers shift, and every one of those moments needs imagery that fits the brand’s visual language.

For a brand at McDonald’s scale that creates a specific set of pressures:

  • Visual consistency across formats and SKUs
  • Speed without quality decay
  • Authenticity that withstands scrutiny

Under the world-famous Golden Arches, there is a very specific way of working: a craft standard at the highest level, applied across the entire menu. Burgers, fries, ice cream, coffee, packaging — every product, and every ingredient inside it, carries the same level of attention. The work has to feel fresh, modern, honest, and extremely mouthwatering.

The clearest external signal we’re doing it well: McDonald’s agencies from other markets reach out to us to produce their local and global materials at the same level of craft.

The Approach

Much of the menu board work, where consistency across SKUs is the deliverable, sits on the same craft: motion control for repeatability, rigs for the in-camera effects, and the kind of visual engagement you can achieve through flipping the camera and finding funky angles. All of that sits on infrastructure our studio owns. Two Bolt systems on rails, a model mover, an in-house SFX team, dedicated rigs, and a fully equipped food styling kitchen on site. Because the entire stack is internal, the workflow stays fast and the team operates already calibrated to the standard the brand demands.

In a world of macro shots and abstract compositions, directors are constantly looking for unseen and creative approaches. To hold that standard, we work with Polish and international directors and food stylists, matched to the demands of the brief. The bench is fed by talents from Director’y — our global portal showcasing directors and food stylists across the food & tabletop film industry. It is where we do the scouting and how we stay close to trends and emerging talents.

To sum up

The compound is trust. A client that trusts the team enough to come back regularly is the foundation. By working closely with the agencies and client, we are able to provide support and share our know-how at the early stages. That allows tailoring ideas to production capabilities, budgets, and timelines.

Over time, that trust compounds into something measurable:

  • Faster decision cycles
  • Fewer compromises on set
  • More ambitious visual outcomes
