- Your name (so we know who we're talking to)
- Email address (to continue the conversation)
- Company name (to understand your business)
- Your message content (the good stuff you want to tell us)
Behind-the-Scenes Data
Your browser automatically shares some technical details when you visit:
- IP address and location (country/city level)
- Device and browser information
- Which pages caught your attention
- How long you stayed (we hope it was interesting!)
- Where you came from (the referring website)
Smart Tracking Technology
We use cookies, pixels, and other clever tech to:
- Understand how people navigate our site
- Remember your preferences for next time
- Fine-tune our website performance
- Serve you relevant advertising
- Track which campaigns actually work
- Build audiences for targeted marketing (with your permission, of course)
How We Put Your Data to Work
- Building Connections: Responding to your creative briefs and project inquiries, crafting personalized proposals, delivering exceptional commercial production services, and nurturing long-term creative partnerships.
- Smart Marketing That Actually Helps: Curating newsletters with industry insights (only if you're interested), sharing relevant updates about our latest work, and creating targeted campaigns.
- Continuous Improvement: Analyzing website flow to enhance user experience, refining our services based on real feedback, and making data-driven decisions that benefit everyone.
The Legal Foundation
Under GDPR, we process your data based on:
- Your Consent: When you opt into newsletters and marketing communications.
- Legitimate Business Interest: For project inquiries, website optimization, and service enhancement.
- Contract Fulfillment: When we're actively working together on projects.
Working With Us: Clients & Contractors
If you're our client, contractor, supplier or partner — or the person representing one (an employee, contact person or representative) — here's how we handle your data.
- Where we get it: directly from you, or from the contractor who named you as a contact person (Art. 13 and 14 GDPR).
- What we process: usually name, role, business email and phone; for sole-trader contractors, also company and billing details (address, tax ID, bank account).
- Why: to enter into and perform a contract (Art. 6(1)(b), and Art. 6(1)(f) for contractor representatives), to meet tax and accounting obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)), and for contact and handling of claims (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- How long: for the duration of the contract, then as long as tax/accounting rules and claim-limitation periods require (generally 5 years).
- Your choice: providing the data is voluntary but necessary to work together — without it we can't start cooperation.
Our Trusted Creative Partners
We collaborate with industry-leading platforms to deliver excellence:
- Analytics: Google Analytics (insight into website performance).
- Marketing automation: Mailchimp (newsletters), HubSpot (CRM).
- Social media & advertising: LinkedIn, Meta, Google Ads.
Marketing Communications
When you agree to receive marketing communications from us (for example via our contact form or newsletter signup), this means we may send you newsletters, product updates, offers, and event invitations by email. We rely on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), and you can unsubscribe at any time — using the link in any message or by contacting us — without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
Cookies & Your Choices
We use cookies and similar technologies (pixels, local storage) so the site works properly, to understand how it's used, and — only if you agree — to measure and serve advertising.
- Necessary — required for the site to work and to remember your consent choices. No consent needed.
- Analytics — help us understand how you use the site (e.g. Google Analytics). Fired only with your consent.
- Marketing — let us measure and personalise ads (e.g. Meta Pixel, Google Ads, LinkedIn). Fired only with your consent.
Analytics and marketing cookies fire only after you agree in the cookie banner — never before. You can change or withdraw your choice anytime via in the footer (withdrawal doesn't affect what happened earlier). See our Cookie Policy for the full list of cookies. In marketing, we may use profiling (building audiences and matching ads in Meta and Google) based on your cookie consent — this does not produce legal or similarly significant effects for you, and we make no automated decisions about you.
On-Site at the Studio (CCTV)
Our production studio (ul. Przemysłowa 5, Blizne Łaszczyńskie) is covered by CCTV for safety and security (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). A short notice is posted at the entrance, and the full notice is available in our CCTV privacy notice.
Global Data Collaboration
Some of our technology partners operate from the United States and other regions. We ensure rock-solid data protection through EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), compliance with European Commission adequacy decisions, and partner adherence to recognized privacy frameworks.
How Long We Keep Your Story
We maintain your information for optimal service delivery:
- Marketing contacts: 3 years from your last interaction with us.
- Business project data: 7 years for legal and accounting requirements.
- Website analytics: 26 months (Google Analytics standard).
- Cookie data: Varies by type and purpose.
Your Data Rights (You're in Control)
As someone in the EU, you have powerful rights over your personal data. You can access and copy your data, correct any information, request complete removal, limit how we process it, object to processing, say no to direct marketing, and withdraw your consent for newsletters whenever you want. Reach out to hello@bitesstudio.com to exercise these rights.
Keeping Your Data Secure
We implement enterprise-grade security measures including SSL encryption, multi-layered access controls, and regular security audits. Our services are designed for business professionals (18+). We don't intentionally collect information from anyone under 16.
Policy Evolution
We periodically refine this policy to stay current with our services and legal requirements. When significant changes occur, we'll notify you by publishing updates prominently on our website.
